In my last blog before Christmas, I want to look back at some of my favourite topics and opportunities which Bray Leino Learning have been speaking about in recent months. What you may not realise is that many of these L&D skills come in very useful at Christmas… Well…
'Twas the week before Christmas, and all through the house,
people are starting to panic about gifts for their spouse.
But you’re not worried about the chaos that’s churning,
because you’ll follow these tips from Bray Leino Learning.
Do you have family prone to prolonging their stays?
Then follow Seven Ways to Destroy Meeting Malaise!
Just as in meetings, a clear timescale is key,
or you won’t get to bed until quarter to three!
And too much of December is spent in the car,
visiting relatives near and friends that are far.
If you’re dreading those travels that are yet to begin,
just like L&D, you could be spreading too thin!
Then when you get there, Steve’s being cheeky,
and the family groups are a little bit cliquey.
If you think their rapport is rapidly waning,
could you suggest our Soft Skills Training?
Now Wendy’s drunk and spoiling charades,
just guessing each one with a cry of ‘Die Hard?!’.
But try and keep cool, don’t kick up heck,
our blog may help keep your feelings in check.
But now you’re in trouble because your present is bad,
it turns out new socks don’t excite your dad.
He’ll like them eventually, so try not to worry,
though try and remember the power of sorry.
At this time of year when so much can go wrong,
it’s all about the family and friends we haven’t seen in so long.
So Bray Leino sent no corporate gifts this year,
but tried to deliver some seasonal cheer.
So we hope that your Christmas is full of good times,
and you can forget about work and enjoy a mulled wine.
When the time comes to get back in gear,
please let us wish you a Bray Leino New Year.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from everyone at Bray Leino Learning.
